Away from their natural habitat, animals often suffer from a lack of light. OSRAM can offer fluorescent lamps that provide a daylight spectrum for healthy animals, in terrariums, aquariums and aviaries.
Animal husbandry
BlOLUX T8 fluorescent lamps from OSRAM emit a daylight white light that gives animals a sense of natural sunlight. Reptiles in particular, such as snakes and tortoises, need a daylight spectrum to remain healthy where there is little natural daylight. Because of its spectral distribution, the light from BlOLUX lamps is excellent for small livestock breeding (birds, fish, etc.).
