Ultraviolet Lamps

OSRAM offers different kinds of UV lamps within the overall UV range, from VUV up to UVA.

In today's society, tailor-made UV radiation is state-of-the-art technology. It is used to sterilise water and surfaces, harden paints, adhesives and plastics, expose printing plates, and help detect forgeries, decayed foods and hairline cracks in work-pieces.

Last, but not least, UV radiation can be used very effectively for advertising purposes and for special effect illumination in theatres, discos and bars as well as for cosmetic applications.
