New LED night-light from Osram

Bad news for bogeymen!

The new LED night-light plugs straight into a mains socket and automatically switches on when the room gets dark and off again when it gets light again.

All thanks to a clever sensor control circuit. Lunetta from Osram lasts much longer than conventional night-lights, consumes just 0.4 W and provides a gentle but highly visible light. The robust head can swivel through 360 degrees so the light can be pointed in any direction.

Children will come to see this night-light as a great comfort and help - they will get to sleep more easily and will not be afraid if they wake up during the night. And sleepwalkers, large and small, will be able to find the bathroom, the light switch or the fridge - without risking accidents or waking the rest of the family by making a noise or putting on bright lights.
