“Selling through seduction”

This was the headline of the SHOP application construction. Shop lighting taps into our curiosity, creates desire and conveys a positive attitude to life. And what’s more, it needs to be energy-efficient.

 

Light & Building
This exhibition in Frankfurt is the world’s leading trade fair for the architecture and lighting industry. One of the scenarios in the center of the OSRAM booth in 2008 was to merge products for the SHOP application.

On both sides of a huge circular disc several products were presented. On top exhibits were positioned from the market segments FASHION, FOOD and AUTOMOBILE. Below the disc more delicate domains were treated like ART, SHOES, JEWELRY and PERFUME.

Special effects
PERFUME: white and colored LEDs show how perfume can be presented effectively and how color can emphasise or estrange.
JEWELRY: warm-white and cold-white LEDs highlight gold and silver differently
SHOES: Halogen is a good light to show surfaces in a natural way
